BOCES/Non-Public/Big City Regional Media Center
BOCES/Non-Public/Big City Regional Media Center membership shall be limited to persons employed in New York State with media/technology responsibilities in a BOCES media program, a non-public media program, or Big City regional media center.
Big City = Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Yonkers and NYC.
Benefits: A venue for learning about media in education and sharing with others, Annual Corporate Partner Showcase and Conference, professional learning opportunities throughout the year, EMTA Listserv, access to discounted EMTA pricing opportunities, representation on the National Association of Media Technology Centers association Board, and ability to share educational needs with EMTA Corporate Partners.
Corporate Partner membership shall be open to representatives of commercial firms in the field of media/technology.
Benefits: Corporate Partner benefits include being able to participate in the Annual EMTA Spring Corporate Partner Showcase in Syracuse, building relationships with BOCES Media Center staff, access to the EMTA listserv and a listing on the EMTA website.
Honorary membership may be granted by majority vote of the Executive Committee to retired individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the field of media/technology and have had BOCES or Big City responsibilities during their tenure in the media/technology field. Honorary membership may also be extended to BOCES District Superintendents.
Associate membership shall be open to those retired teachers interested in the field of media/technology.
Memberships are for one year; July 1 to June 30 and the completed form is due by August 31.
